Borders are not boundaries

What is the thing which differentiates all the countries on a map? Borders!

Usually you need a lot of paper work and permissions to cross a border, now we all know about the things for which we need permissions in order to cross the border but, what about the things that don’t need those permits? The things which those fences can’t confine…

Let’s list down few such things: Feelings, Nature, KNOWLEDGE and Messages etc…
Those block letters might have given you the idea that knowledge is what we are going to talk about.

Knowledge is limitless yet still limited in our lives, any idea why? Because we aren’t following the right recipe! Okay so now what’s with this recipe?? Where did it came from?

Simple! We don’t follow the omelet recipe to cook steak or do we? The point is that we are unaware of the power of knowledge and its importance. The insensitivity in our society has made a limitless thing limited. Yeah! It’s awful!

The title I used as “Borders are not boundaries” is because we live in a society who believes that there is much more of knowledge on the other sides of the borders than it is inside the borders. A mindset which is completely wrong. Why not trust on our people? Why consider ourselves less than the people on the other side of the border?  I call this “The Border Problem”

This mindset of the people limits knowledge within the borders, how?
People just stop seeking knowledge which is the prime ingredient of the knowledge recipe. People think that the knowledge outside the border is far better than theirs…

Now what to do to solve the border problem? Just cook with the right recipe!
1. Seek Knowledge
2. Use the senses
3. Collaborate

Seeking Knowledge needs a lot of passion so think of passion like you need to wash your hands before cooking a delicious dish. Let’s move forward…

Use the senses! Observe, Listen, Think, Speak and Feel about whatever you seek, find a way which comforts you during the process. Since we are present in a global village, we are just few clicks away from exploring the unlimited possibilities of beautiful and fascinating things happening around the world.
Broaden your vision, have a look outside the window, question about things that seem usual but are not, learn from the people that you think are better than you, make a healthy gathering.

Lastly, collaborate! Knowledge is one of those things which isn’t lessen when you share it with others, promote mutual learning mindset among the communities, share it with people from around the globe by making meaningful connections, a network that is based on respect and fosters the idea of growth. There are people just like us on the other sides of the borders, we all are equal yet different in most beautiful ways…embrace that beauty of each other.

Now I am not going to say that these three steps are the only way to solve The Border Problem. There exist different recipes to cook the same dish…not all steaks are spicy, there are many flavors. Similarly, there can be more ways, you can create your own too as long as the goal remains (to solve the border problem) any recipe would work.

The Border Problem is not a problem of a single country or a single nation but, many of the countries and nations suffer from it. It’s really important for you to know the difference between the borders and the boundaries.

The borders weren’t drawn by us but we are free to draw our boundaries, so make sure to draw your playground so big that you can play every sport you can think of.
